METHOD MEASUREMENT OF ELECTROPHYSICAL PARAMETERS OF MULTILAYER DIELECTRIC COATINGS IN THE MICROWAVE RANGE

Abstract. In this paper a new microwave method of measurement electrophysical parameters multilayer dielectric coatings. The basis of the method is the electrodynamic model, based on dispersion equations that allows to connect the electrophysical parameters of a multilayer dielectric coating with coefficient of normal attenuation of the field of surface electromagnetic wave. Dispersion equations are derived by formalizing the transverse resonance technique for the case of a coating with an arbitrary number of layers. The proposed method makes it possible to increase the reliability and accuracy of the measurements of the electrophysical parameters of multilayer dielectric coatings.
