Abstract. The article briefly discusses the state and development of surveillance, inspection and diagnostic devices at the Interpolitex – 2018 exhibition for the protection and security of the state and individuals: thermal imaging equipment, video equipment, endoscopes, explosives and narcotic substances detectors, x-ray inspection equipment, etc. The possibilities of optimal application are considered. This technique has a dual use and is widely used in civil areas – energy, industry and medicine.
