STUDY OF THE POSSIBILITY OF HEAT NON-DESTRUCTIVE MONITORING OF THE DRAWING SYSTEM OF THE AIRCRAFT CHASSIS
(pp. 48-54)

Abstract. Currently, issues related to the possibility of thermal non-destructive testing of aircraft structures are relevant. The article discusses the possibilities of thermal non-destructive testing of the chassis braking system of an aircraft to assess the effectiveness of its operation from temperature information, based on the simulation of the thermal conductivity process in this system. A study was conducted on the distribution of heat in the chassis braking system, depending on the landing characteristics of the aircraft, the design characteristics and the ambient temperature. It has been established that it is possible to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of the functioning of this system: an assessment of the quality of landing an aircraft according to the intensity of tribological heat release; conducting passive thermal control of the system; assessment of the wear rate of brake discs according to the temperature change during the operation of this system. The results of the verification of the mathematical model are shown.

Keywords: thermal fatigue failure of material, friction knots, wear, mathematical model, non-stationary thermal conductivity, chassis braking system, aircraft.
