METHOD FOR CONTROL OF ANTI-WEAR PROPERTIES IN THE OXIDIZED TRANSMISSION OILS
(pp. 50-53)

Abstract. It is given the results of tribological tests of transmission oils of different basic framework. It is found that the time and rate of formation of the frictional contact area depend on the concentration of oxidation products, and its composition is changed cyclically. At the same time, the formation of frictional contact is determined by the total length of plastic and elastoplastic deformation, which is determined from chart records changes in the current flowing through frictional contact. Mineral oil has the best anti-wear properties according to the test results of testing the oxidized gear oils of different basic framework . The criterion of anti-wear properties is [proposed. It takes into account the concentration of the oxidation products on the nominal area of frictional contact, whose dependence on the concentration of the oxidation products is described by a linear equation that allows to compare various oils and improve the system of classification.

Keywords: wear scar diameter, the absorption coefficient of the light flux, criterion antiwear properties, the formation rate of the area of frictional contact.
