BARKHAUSEN NOISE SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION OF IN THE AREA OF STRESS CONCENTRATION DURING FFATIGUE TEST OF STEEL 10HSND
(pp. 31-38)

Abstract. The problem of material evolution and microcracks detection during fatigue degradation at early stages of fatigue is one of the key problems of non-destructive testing of fatigue. The article presents a short description of nondestructive testing methods for fatigue evaluations. The experimental study of steel 10HSND fatigue degradation with Barkhausen effect. Describes Behavior of Barkhausen noise in connection to a ferromagnetic material microstructure under fatigue tests is described. Some clear mechanisms explaining the interaction of fatigue and Barkhausen noise changes are also discussed.

Keywords: Barkhausen noise, the area of stress concentration, fatigue test, bending, fatigue degradation.
