APPLICATION OF MODELING FOR INCREASE OF RELIABILITY OF ULTRASONIC CONTROL WITH APPLICATION OF THE PHASED ANTENNA ARRAY
(pp. 35-40)

Abstract. Basics of visualization of the image at mathematical modeling of ultrasonic inspection with application of the phased antenna array are covered. The main stages of mathematical modeling and results of numerical calculations are described. High degree of similarity in deter-mination of the defect depth at numerical calculations of mathematical modeling with results of ultrasonic inspection using defectoscope with the phased antenna array is displayed. Mathematical modeling is perspective direction for improvement of process of detection and measurement of the actual extent of defects, providing information on an origin of signals from defect. The assessment of reliability of ultra-sonic inspection by results of mathematical modeling is made. The offered approach allows to reduce probability of a deficient screening and to improve methodical documents for testing using phased antenna array.
