FEATURES OF THE TECHNICAL INSPECTION PROCEDURE OF SHELVING EQUIPMENT
(pp. 32-38)

Abstract. The necessity of monitoring the technical condition of shelving structures to assess the reliability of their operation is justified. An important element of this process is the technical inspection procedure aimed at preventing accidents and minimizing the operational risks of shelving equipment. The procedure for complete technical inspection of shelving structures is described and its scheme is drawn up. There are 3 main stages of the procedure: 1) checking the organization and maintenance of shelving equipment; 2) inspection of shelving equipment and confirmation of its safe operation; 3) processing of results and their registration in the form of a unified report. The scheme illustrates the content of work at each stage and can be used both by experts of specialized organizations authorized to conduct technical inspection of shelving structures, and by warehouse employees to analyze and improve the process of monitoring the condition of shelving equipment. The requirements of the current regulatory documents regulating the procedure for full technical inspection of shelving structures are analyzed. Examples of defects and inconsistencies that can be identified in the process of technical inspection of shelving structures are given. Detection of some of them leads to a ban on the operation of this type of equipment. The sequence of the full technical inspection procedure proposed by the authors can be used by organizations performing such types of work to improve the quality of their implementation, as well as to standardize this process. Application of the results of analysis and systematization of requirements for the full technical inspection procedure will improve reliability of the results of inspections of the technical condition of shelving structures.
