Some aspects of regulatory documents are considered: Federal norms and rules in the field of atomic energy use regarding radiographic testing (RGT). Comments are given on individual points of the specified documents that cause ambiguous interpretation. Individual examples of radiographic testing are given. The peculiarity of constructing quality standard tables when assessing the results of RGT is shown, in particular, the document “Norms and Rules NP-105-15”. An approach is proposed for the case: “the ratio of the estimated thickness to the total radiation thickness is less than 0.2”. The proposed solution is illustrated by examples of implementing radiographic testing of welded joints. Keywords: field of atomic energy use, federal norms and rules, non-destructive testing, welded joints, radiographic testing, radiation thickness, testing sensitivity.
