Naugolnova I. A., Iskoskov M. O., Savich E. K. PROCESS-BASED QUALITY MANAGEMENT OF PRODUCTS AT THE STAGES OF THEIR LIFE CYCLE (pp. 39-47)
Abstract. The article proposes a process-oriented approach to quality management, covering ten stages of the product life cycle ‒ from design and production preparation to operation and disposal. Key factors causing deviations in quality parameters are systematized, and their generalized classification by life cycle stages is developed. Based on this, control points are identified where product quality can either be formed or disrupted, and quality management tools applicable at each stage are substantiated. Practical testing of the model elements, carried out at JSC "RCC Progress", demonstrated a reduction in defect levels, shorter response times to deviations, and an increase in the share of products meeting requirements without rework. The scientific significance of the study lies in clarifying the cause-and-effect relationships between the stages of the product life cycle and the formation of its quality, as well as in expanding the methodological toolkit of quality management in industrial enterprises.
Keywords: product life cycle, quality management, process approach, quality factors, digital control, diagnostics.
