The article describes four episodes of acoustic emission control accompanied by pneumatic tests at large technological installations, the uniqueness of which lies in the volume of simultaneously monitored objects and a large number of measuring channels used. The modern regulatory framework, the main advantages and disadvantages of the method are considered, as well as the problems associated with the control of extended contours. The characteristic features of the installations and the contour test program are given. The analysis of the data obtained was carried out and the weaknesses of each contour, consisting in specific types of defects detected, were noted. A correlation has been established between the informative parameters of the acoustic emission pulse and the leaks detected during the verification process. The prospects of scaling the acoustic emission method of technical condition control are assessed and ways of its further development are proposed. Keywords: acoustic emission control method of technical condition, pneumatic tests, high pressure circuit, acoustic emission pulse parameters, oil and gas industry.
