DETERMINING THE PARAMETERS OF PIEZOTRANSDUCERS USING THEIR OWN THERMAL NOISE
(pp. 68-74)

Abstract. Various methods for measuring the electrical parameters of piezoelectric transducers are considered. The main disadvantages of the limitations of standardized well-known techniques are shown, which hinder their adequate use and make it difficult to measure the parameters of piezoelectric converters used in industry for the diagnosis of technical devices. A new calibration method is proposed, which uses the intrinsic thermal noise of the transducers to calibrate them. This method makes it possible to significantly simplify the calibration process and increase the accuracy of measuring the electrical parameters of piezoelectric transducers.

Keywords: piezoelectric transducer, transducer calibration, Noise Сalibration method (NC).
