Abstract. The problem of the gap between the detailed results of machine learning (ML) in the aspect of quality diagnostics in mechanical engineering, on the one hand, and the needs of quality management systems (QMS) in standardized reporting, on the other hand, is considered. An intelligent system has been developed based on the synergetic integration of distributed ML modules for local diagnostics and large language models (LLM) for the automatic generation of context-sensitive QMS reports. With the help of the proposed intelligent system, automation of the quality reporting process will be possible.
Keywords: machine learning (ML), large language models (LLM), quality management system (QMS), mechanical engineering, automation of reporting.
